Kenya will engage Russian authorities on reports that some Kenyans have been voluntarily or involuntarily recruited into the Russian military, particularly within the context of the ongoing Russia–Ukraine War.
Diplomatic talks aim to prevent *deceptive recruitment* schemes or false job promises that may lure Kenyan citizens into military service.
The Kenyan government will seek clear safeguards to protect Kenyan nationals from being drawn into foreign military conflicts.
